The world of popular media has become chaotic with hundreds of television channels to choose from, thousands songs ready for download and not forgetting millions of web pages to surf.
A decade ago, the only way for people to communicate with each other was meeting face to face or writing letters. However, people living or working in different countries might be unable to meet each other. Sending a letter might take them four or five days to receive. In the way of being delivered, many letters were lost or misplaced. Moreover, it cost lots of money for traveling and sending letters if people lived too far from others.

Naturally, while technology made a huge positive impact on communication it cannot be denied that there is also a negative side to the story. First, let’s take a look at technology’s negative effects on communication:
Speed is one of the best aspects of technology. We hear of what is happening around as it happens. This speed and easy access is very helpful in emergency situations. Businesses and customers also benefit from this speed.
Through the communication technology, the Global Positioning System was designed. GPS is based partly on similar ground-based radio-navigation systems. It equipped with maps and locations from around the world, it can give direction with accurate. GPS can save you a considerable amount of time navigating foreign areas, finding a local restaurant or locating the nearest emergency service facility.
